Dining in Door County
The Cowboy Steak at Alexander's of Door County

AC Tap

If you're an AJ Dillon fan (Go Pack Go), you may have seen him sporting a green and yellow AC Tap shirt. He says the Tap has the best wings in Wisconsin. Don't fight him on it, Quadzilla would be frightening to try to take down! Instead, swing by the Tap just south of Northwoods Farmstead off Highway 57, and enjoy a classic bar/restaurant experience. The famous "Wimpy" sliders are the absolute stuff dreams are made of. Don't forget cash, no cards here, folks.

Alexander's of Door County

Our favorite restaurant in all of Door County, Alexander's offers casual fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Steak, seafood, pasta or all of the above; Alexander's menu has something for everyone. They also offer the best after dinner drinks around, if you happen to like ice cream as much as we do.

Analog Coffee

If you're a coffee lover, this coffee and ice cream place with a throwback vibe and fun attitude is for you. This little shop serves Anodyne Coffee and tasty early morning sweets and hot breakfast sandwiches galore.

Situated in quaint Fish Creek, the restaurant integrates signature style with a Wisconsin Supper Club and steakhouse vibe. Selected steaks, fresh seafood, and generous homemade sides, the Barringer's experience is not one like any other.

Boathouse on the Bay ("The Boathouse")

The Boathouse is one of our main go-to's in Sister Bay. The Boathouse has a little bit of everything and is an unbeatable spot to watch the sun set over Sister Bay. If you're looking for seafood in particular, the Boathouse is the easy choice. Famous for their Lobster Roll (it's literally THE BEST), the Boathouse offers a chic and cozy atmosphere with an upstairs and downstairs bar overlooking the water, great food and delightful drinks.

Good Eggs

If you want a custom order breakfast burrito the size of your head, look no further. Good Eggs is the place to be. However, be warned, this gem of a place to dine in Door County is no secret! The line is typically very long to wait to get your burrito. Fear not, though, weary traveler, there's an APP for that! If you download the Good Eggs app, place your order ahead of time, you can swing right through and pick up your order when its ready. You can NOT go wrong with Good Eggs in Ephraim, Wisconsin.

JJ's La Puerta

JJ himself is a Door County legend. He'll most likely be there greeting guests if choose to soak in the atmosphere at this Door County waterfront staple. JJ's offers Mexican-American combo cuisine, which never disappoints. If you happen to be over 21, don't forget to ask for a "Bernie."

Sister Bay Bowl

The Sister Bay Bowl is the OG. The orig. We call it "the bowl." The Bowl offers a little bit of something for everyone. Whether you want some of the best fish fry in the state of Wisconsin, ribs, sandwiches, or a Saturday night Prime Rib, the bowl has it all. Not to mention they have the bowling alley inside to entertain you and your friends, regardless of age, as well as the Alley Bar outside, which is a great spot to enjoy Door County's nightlife.

Top Deck at Gordon Lodge

An annual tradition, Top Deck's delicious food, craft cocktails, and one-of-a-kind sunsets make this old charming boathouse make this a must-eat destination in Door County.

Twelve Eleven Wine + Provisions

Twelve Eleven is a relative newcomer to the Door County dining scene, however, they offer an incredible experience and amazing outdoor areas. Offering many types of wine, build your own charcuterie boards, board games, and a Spotted Cow or PBR for those that don't have the wine thing figured out yet, Twelve Eleven offers a unique and fun experience. Another great thing about Twelve Eleven is that it's a quick two minute walk up the road from Northwoods Farmstead!

A Door County classic for over 120 years (since 1906!), Wilson's is the best of the best when it comes to ice cream. There are many places to get ice cream in Door County, but Wilson's is just different. The whole experience stands out. Stand in line and get a number, wait outside for your number to be called, make your order and enjoy your ice cream with a tasty surprise at the end (order a cone and you'll find out). This is one of those things that if you're a true Door County traveler, you know. If you're not there yet, that's cool too, just go! You'll find out, and you'll enjoy every second while overlooking the water in Ephraim.
